Clarification Text on Personal Data Protection and Processing
As Effeffe Pet Ürünleri Ve Evcil Hayvan Yem Sanayi Ve Ticaret Anonim Şirketi (“Company”), we respect your privacy and value your data security. In this scope, this text was prepared to inform you pursuant to Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“Law”, “LPPD”) and other relevant legislation. Your personal data is being processed by our Company within the scope of this Information Text in accordance with the Law and other relevant legislation.
1. Identity of Data Controller
We would like to inform you that we, as Data Controller, Effeffe Pet Ürünleri ve Evcil Hayvan Yem San. Tic. A.Ş. registered with the Istanbul Trade Registry with no 3262-5, and located at Büyükbakkalköy Mahallesi Samandıra Yolu Sokak No: 30 Maltepe / İstanbul, process your personal data in accordance with LPPD.2. The Purpose of Processing Your Personal Data
Your personal data is being processed according to the personal data processing principles and the requirements sought in the Article 4 of LPPD and relevant legislation based on one or more of the personal data processing requirements specified in Article 5 of LPPD or your express consent.Your personal data obtained in verbal, written, visual or electronic environment through channels like telephones, websites, etc. can be processed by our Company for the purposes specified herein (including those stated below but not limited to them) in a restricted manner.
As the data controller, we can process your following data;
- Your Identity Information: Your name, last name, T.R. ID No, passport number or temporary T.R. ID No, and any other ID information with which we can identify you.
- Your Contact Info: Your address, telephone number, e-mail address and similar contact info, your voice recordings if you contact us by telephone, and your personal information we obtain when you contact us by e-mail, mail or similar channels.

- Your Video and Voice Recordings: Your video and voice recordings which are made for security and surveillance purposes during your visit to our company.
Our purposes for processing your personal data include but are not limited to the following;
- To present the company products and services to you, to fulfil our obligations to you, to prepare records and documents, to meet storage, reporting, information, tax and similar obligations stipulated by the relevant legislation,
- To manage infrastructure and commercial activities, and to comply with internal policies and procedures including those related to auditing, finance and accounting, invoicing and collections, information technology systems, data and website hosting, business continuity and records, document and print management,
- To plan and execute corporate governance activities,
- To plan and execute logistics activities,
- To measure and increase customer satisfaction, complaint management, to receive your comments and suggestions about new services and products, to inform you about our products, services, your complaints and requests,
- To ensure the accuracy and up-to-dateness of the data,
- To manage and/or audit relations with the subsidiaries
- To fulfil data storage, reporting, information obligations foreseen by official authorities, to perform contractual requirements, and to meet legal requirements that the Company is subject to with regards to benefiting from these services,
- To plan special advertising, campaign and other promotional activities, to conduct surveys and other statistical analyses,
- To be able to evaluate customer complaints and suggestions regarding our products and services,
- To continue business activities and operations, and to carry out Company activities and procedures,
- To ensure the physical security and surveillance of the buildings,
- To plan the works carried out with our business partners,
- To fulfil our obligations under LPPD, and to exercise our rights arising under the legislation,
3. Data Can Be Transferred to Whom and For Which Reason?
Your collected personal data can be transferred to the following persons and entities, and to third parties to realize the objectives stated in Article 2 of this Information Text within the scope of LPPD and relevant legislation within the framework of the personal data processing conditions and purposes stipulated in Article 8 and 9 of LPPD;- Our shareholders
- Our partners
- Our suppliers abroad
- Legally authorized public institutions and organizations, administrative and legal authorities
- Third persons including lawyers, tax advisors and auditors from whom we receive consultancy services,
- Domestic/international organizations which we receive services contractually to carry out our operations or which we supply services or cooperate.
4. Collection Method of Personal Data and Its Legal Base
Your personal data may be processed and transferred for the objectives stated in Article 2 and 3 of this Information Text within the scope of performance of the contract, the legitimate interests of the data controller, the legal obligations of the data controller, the express consent of the data subjects, and making the data public by the data subject as stated in Article 5 and 6 of the Law.Your personal data may be collected from various entities which we provide/receive support service, and real and/or legal entities which we interact with due to legislations and contracts, and from physical spaces, our websites, phone lines, etc. through automatic or non-automatic means, and they are stored in physical and digital storage tools.
Your personal data will be erased, destroyed or anonymized when the purpose for which it is processed is eliminated according to Article 7/f.1 of Law No. 6098, or the prescription/storage periods for which we are obligated to keep the personal data for processing expire.
5. Rights of the Data Subject
As data subjects, if you send your requests regarding your rights listed in Article 11 of the Law through the methods explained below to our Company, our Company will conclude these requests as soon as possible or within 30 days at the latest based on their nature free of charge. However, if the action requires an extra cost, fees may be charged in the tariff determined by the Personal Data Protection Board.In this scope, the data subjects are entitled to ;
- Learn whether personal data is being processed,
- Request further information about processing if personal data relating to him/her is being processed,
- Learn the purpose of processing of personal data and whether personal data is being used consistently with the purpose,
- Know the third parties in the country or abroad to whom personal data is transferred,
- Request rectification if personal data was processed incompletely or inaccurately, and request notification of the rectification to the third parties to whom personal data has been transferred,
- Even if your personal data has been processed according to LPPD and other relevant legislation, request the erasure or destruction of your personal data if the purposes according to which your data has been processed are eliminated, and request the notification of this operation to third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred.
- Object to occurrence of any result that is to her/his detriment by means of analysis of personal data exclusively through automated systems,
- Request compensation for the damages in case he/she incurs damages due to unlawful processing of personal data.
You can send your request regarding the use of your rights listed above in Turkish language and in written form or using the registered electronic mail (KEP) address, secure electronic signature, mobile signature or the e-mail address previously notified to the Company which is recorded in our system pursuant to paragraph 1 of Article 13 of the Law, and the Communiqué on the Principles and Procedures of Applying to Data Controller No. 30356.
Your application must include;
- Your name, last name, and your signature if your application is in writing,
- >Your T.R. ID No, if you are a Turkish citizen, or your nationality, passport number or ID Number if you are a foreigner,
- >Your residence or work address for notification;
- Your e-mail, telephone and fax number, if any, for notification;
- The subject of your request.
